Isn't this a bad sign?
I drove past the gas station and was actually excited that gas had gone down to $4.14 a gallon. Sad.

That is frightening. Sadly, something like that happened to me last week.
ReplyDeleteWell, you could move to Albuquerque where I paid $3.38 today at Smith's. Think about it, it's got to be a little tempting.

Wait---we don't have a job there. Darn, I guess without that we couldn't even buy cheap gas. What a bummer. (And, also sad that I think 3.38 is cheap.)
I got excited today too when I saw that our gas had dropped to $3.69. Looking back a couple years, I remember thinking how outrageous it was to have to spend $2.50 a gallon. Now I think, Aaah, those were the days!
ReplyDeletewhat? we're paying $3.60 here. and we're usually much higher. and if i spend $50 at safeway in one stop, i can get 20 cents off of that price for a one time fill-up.
