What am I doing this weekend? Mostly this: Watching Conference.

I love it. It is a time of spiritual refreshment, testimony renewal, and recommitting to live up to the covenants I have made to follow Jesus Christ.
Wasn't it wonderful? I feel so inspired and grateful to have the words of prophets and love of these amazing leaders. What a blessing to sit and listen. It is interesting to know how your girls reacted as they are getting older and beginning to understand. What I understood was that service to others is our primary goal in this life--that includes our families both living and dead, our ward, our neighbors. I so wish I had understood this when my children were young and could have taught them and I'm so amazed that they got it anyway-- thanks to wives who knew what I didn't know and thanks to missions where devoted service was given for two years--daily and without payment. How blessed we are.
