One of our friends went to Germany, and King arranged for him to bring home a surprise for the girls. They were so excited, because they had heard of these "secret eggs" from daddy. They are pretty cool--a hollow chocolate egg, with a little toy inside. They loved them.
In September up at Snowbird, they hold an annual Oktoberfest celebration and you can buy the Kinder Eggs there. I wish there was more chocolate to them, but it's still fun to get a surprise.
Living with chronic migraines and three busy princesses (who sometimes forget they are princesses and act like terrors instead) can be crazy, but it's the only life I'd ever want! The Lord has blessed me immensely. If you're looking for glowing accounts of girls with impeccable manners and sweet innocence, you'd better go elsewhere. I won't say we haven't tried, but those innocent days are long gone... :)
How cool.
ReplyDeleteThose are pretty cool. I want the chocolate and Ned says he wants the toy! :)
ReplyDeleteHooray for Kinder Eggs!

ReplyDeleteI agree, Brooke. They need more chocolate. At least as thick as a Cadbury Egg would be nice.
ReplyDeletethey had those kindereggs everywhere in russia. some of the missionaries liked to collect them, but i thought the chocolate wasn't worth it.
ReplyDeletethey are pretty fun for kids, though.
